Police blotter: April 9 – April 15

Thursday, April 9

Officers assisted City police with a motor vehicle accident on Centre Avenue and Allequippa Street. The driver fled the scene.

Friday, April 10

An individual reported a package that had been delivered went missing at the Cathedral of Learning. Investigation pending.

An officer took a report for retail theft at Maggie and Stella’s. On April 13, 2026, the stuffed animal was recovered and returned to Maggie and Stella’s, and the case will be filed as closed.

Saturday, April 11

One citation was issued to an individual not affiliated with Pitt for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower B.

One citation was issued to a student for underage drinking at Litchfield Tower A.

Sunday, April 12

A campus security authority reported a liquor law violation at Nordenberg Hall. One student was issued a conduct referral.

An individual reported a theft by unlawful taking at the Petersen Events Center. Investigation pending.

An officer took a report regarding a hit and run on Victoria Street. Investigation pending.

A campus security authority reported a fondling at the Eatery. The complainant did not file a police report.
