Pride Week events

The Pride Week events began on Saturday with a kick-off luau at Cattivo, followed by the Ms. Delta Pride pageant at Pegasus Lounge on Sunday.

Monday’s events included a bowling extravaganza and a television masquerade party, and Tuesday’s included a corporate roundtable.

Splash! pool party

Admission is $65 in advance or $80 at the door.

An Evening with Meshell Ndegeocello

August Wilson Center for African-American Culture

Doors open at 7 p.m., show begins at 8 p.m.

Admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Saturday:

Black Pride Film Festival

August Wilson Center for African-American Culture

Noon to 8 p.m.

Attendees can buy an all-day pass for $7.

Pittsburgh Dyke March

Meet on the CMU lawn at 2 p.m., march begins at 3 p.m.

Post-march picnic at Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park

Pride in the Street

Dance party featuring Tony and Grammy award-winning musician Jennifer Holliday and disc jockey Phil B

Road between 9th and 10th streets

7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Hi Ho: The Glamorous Life, a musical

Grey Box Theater

8 p.m.

Admission is $30.

Pride Awareness March

Starting on the Boulevard of the Allies at Grant Street and ending on Liberty Avenue

Noon

PrideFest

Liberty Avenue between 7th and 10th streets

Short Films presented by the Lesbian and Gay Film Society at the Harris Theater

Noon to 3 p.m.

Sunset T-Dance

Privilege Ultra Lounge, 1650 Smallman St.

6 to 10 p.m.

Admission is $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
