-3:46 p.m. — A person in the William Pitt Union reported a disturbing letter. An investigation is pending.

-5:20 p.m. — A guard in Posvar Hall reported that a vending machine’s Plexiglas was pushed in. Bev-O-Matic was contacted for repair.

-11:42 p.m. — A computer protection alarm in Hillman Library went off, showing Room 112, zone nine. Officers checked the area and found the activation to be an accident.

Tuesday, March 16

-1:29 a.m. — A woman in Holland Hall reported receiving several harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.

-5:25 a.m. — Police arrested nonaffiliate Peter Jones, of 382 Lehigh Road, for defiant trespass at UPMC.

-10:47 a.m. — Medics responded to a woman in Mervis Hall experiencing vomiting and dizziness. Medics took her to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital’s emergency room.

-5:56 p.m. — A man exposed himself to a woman on Dithridge Street. Officers were able to identify the man, and police will obtain a warrant for his arrest.

-9:27 p.m. — An individual reported a lost wallet.

-10:10 p.m. — A burglar alarm in Hill Building was activated, showing rear door motion.

-11 p.m. — A woman reported that her wallet was lost someplace on campus.

Wednesday, March 17

-12:24 a.m. — A woman in Holland Hall electrocuted herself while using her iron. The iron was still plugged into the wall. The woman stated that she had a minor burn on her hand. An officer stated that the iron was faulty, according to the engineer.

-2:40 a.m. — An officer said that there was a trash can on fire in the back of Alumni Hall. Engine 10 responded to extinguish the fire. The incident was cleared at the scene.

-2:22 p.m. — A caller reported losing a wallet at an unknown place on campus.

-4:42 p.m. — Police received a report of a stolen wallet at Benedum Hall. An investigation is pending.

Thursday, March 18

-1:13 a.m. — Police cited Brian Michael Serbin, of 420 Litchfield Tower A, for underage drinking. He was transported to UMPC Presbyterian Hospital.

-1:59 a.m. — Police helped city medics transport a woman from Holland Hall to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

-2:54 a.m. — Police assisted city police with a robbery report on Forbes Avenue near Duquesne University.
