-3 p.m. – A hot water pipe burst in room 402 of Salk Hall, causing a fire alarm to activate.
-4:32 p.m. – A fire alarm in Chevron Science Center was activated by a broken sprinkler head located in the loading dock area.
-9:51 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Karey Reeg, of 800 Wible Run Rd., for public intoxication near UPMC.

-3:31 a.m. – Police cited James Forosisky, of 1801 Tower A, for public intoxication at Sutherland Hall.
-10:27 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported theft of a wallet at a party on Melwood Street.
-1:59 p.m. – A frozen sprinkler line activated a fire alarm in the Litchfield Towers.
-3:31 p.m. – A complainant in Tower B reported being harassed by another resident. The resident director handled the matter.
-5:44 p.m. – A complainant in Bellefield Hall reported the theft of a camera on Sunday, Feb. 1. An investigation is pending.

-5:49 a.m. – Excessive water in the sewer line blew off a manhole cover at Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. The city fire department was notified.
-2:51 p.m. – A representative from the Book Center reported that a man had stolen a book and left the store. An investigation is pending.
-3:56 p.m. – A delivery truck backed into several parked vehicles near Salk Hall. An officer assisted with the exchange of information.
