According to the Pitt police media log, Student Government Board member Pat Creighton was… According to the Pitt police media log, Student Government Board member Pat Creighton was cited for public drunkenness at 2:12 a.m. Friday, in the area of the Bouquet parking lot, near the intersection of Bouquet Street and Fifth Avenue.
Creighton said he had been cited, but he would not comment until after his hearing before the magistrate.
“I’m not speaking to anyone until then,” he said, adding that he had been charged with public intoxication, not public drunkenness.
Pitt police Commander Kathy Schreiber said charges of public intoxication and public drunkenness are the same. She also said no information could be released until after the hearing later this month.
SGB President Kevin Washo Jr. said he did not have a chance to sit down with Creighton, but said, “I stand behind Pat and I stand behind all my board members.”
Creighton is the second SGB member cited this year; Bryan Thomas II was cited for underage drinking at the beginning of October.
