Staff members at The Pitt News received thirteen awards in eleven different categories from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for print stories published between June 11, 2018 through June 10, 2019.
The competition, Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 2019 Gold Circle Awards, recognizes “superior” work in student journalism at schools nationwide and schools overseas that follow an American curriculum.
