Hannah Levine, Visuals Editor
Hi! I’m Hannah Levine, the visuals editor at The Pitt News! I’m a senior graduating in December with a degree in computer engineering with a software engineering concentration. I’m also getting the innovation, product design and entrepreneurship certificate through the Swanson School of Engineering. I joined The Pitt News in the spring of 2022 and have been with the visuals desk ever since. I have loved working with all of the talented staff as a photographer, and I’m so excited to continue my work here as an editor!
Outside of TPN, I am an Engineering Ambassador for SSOE and the Corresponding Secretary for Theta Tau. I also work for the Entertainment Technology Center at CMU! When I’m not working, you can find me at the Center for Creative Reuse shopping for my next project, or at Therapy Dog Tuesdays (missing my dog, Rigi).
Maya Burns, Assistant Visuals Editor
I’m Maya and I am the assistant visuals editor at The Pitt News this year! I am a junior studying ecology and evolution and English literature with a minor in studio art. In my third semester at The Pitt News, I am eager to work alongside the talented editorial board and visuals staff to represent whatever the Pittsburgh community throws our way.
In what free time I have, I love caring for my home zoo and garden, tackling new sewing projects and watching or reading something spooky.
