The sophomore competed in the trials to join the team May 15-17 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was picked as one of 14 finalists to make the team out of the 27 that tried out. Twelve players are on the final roster.

The team is competing in the U-19 FIBA World Championship, which takes place July 23 through Aug. 2 in Bangkok, Thailand. The tournament is comprised of teams from 16 countries.
