Saturday, Dec. 8

12:36 a.m. — Police responded to a report of several individuals who were robbed at gunpoint. The area was checked with negative results.

3:55 a.m. — Police issued two citations for underage drinking and public intoxication to a student at 3100 Swinburne St.

1:04 p.m. — A large hole was located outside of Touch of Gold on Forbes Avenue, causing a hazardous condition for pedestrian traffic. Facilities management was notified.

1:33 p.m. — Pitt police assisted Carnegie Mellon police in locating a missing student at Lothrop Hall. Contact was made with the student’s sister, who is a Pitt student, with negative results.

7:06 p.m. — Officers responded to a smell of marijuana reported by the on-duty RD at Holland Hall. Individuals were identified and will be referred for judicial action.

8:34 p.m. — Police responded to an individual who reported the theft of their wallet at the Cost Sports Center. An investigation is pending.

9:48 p.m. — Police issued a summons arrest for possession of a narcotic and possession of marijuana to a non-affiliate at Fifth and Meyran avenues.

11:57 p.m. — Police issued a citation for underage drinking to a student at Holland Hall.

Sunday, Dec. 9

1:11 a.m. — An individual wanted to file a suspicious activity report at Frick Fine Arts Building.

10:26 a.m. — Police responded to a hold-up alarm at 3512 Forbes Ave. An employee set off the alarm.

Monday, Dec. 10

1:19 a.m. — Police physically arrested a non-affiliate for driving under the influence at Forbes Avenue and Schenley Drive.

7:45 a.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a woman in distress at Fifth Avenue and Clyde Street. City medics transported the person to UPMC Presbyterian.

11:24 a.m. — Police recovered a credit card at the Petersen Events Center. The owner was notified, and the item was placed in an evidence locker.

3:11 p.m. — Police recovered a woman’s wallet at the Cathedral of Learning. The item was placed in an evidence locker.

3:50 p.m. — Police assisted the Las Vegas police department with an identity theft investigation at Litchfield Tower B. An individual reported her credit card number being used illegally.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

12:39 p.m. — Police conducted an administrative internal investigation at the Public Safety Building. The investigation is ongoing.

11:33 p.m. — A vehicle was towed during a traffic stop for insurance cancellation. Police issued the driver a traffic citation.

11:40 p.m. — Police cited an affiliate for possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct at Litchfield Tower A.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

7:45 a.m. — Police responded to a false fire alarm activation as a result of a miscommunication during a test of the system at the Falk School. City firefighters were notified, and the report was disregarded.

10:23 a.m. — Police arrested two affiliates for intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Ruskin Hall.

11:26 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a fire alarm activation due to a faulty smoke detector at the Petersen Events Center. City firefighters responded and cleared the call.

1:07 p.m. — Police responded to a false fire alarm activation due to a water leak at Lothrop Hall.

5:30 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hold-up alarm at 3810 Forbes Ave. Upon arrival, an employee advised officers that the button was pressed by accident.

9:47 p.m. — During a traffic stop, it was determined that the driver had a suspended license. The vehicle was towed, and police issued several traffic citations to the individual.

10:36 p.m. — Police recovered a wallet at the Fitzgerald Field House. The owner was notified, and the wallet was placed in an evidence locker.

Thursday, Dec. 13

8:16 a.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at Fifth and Tennyson avenues.

9:17 a.m. — A vehicle was towed for being parked illegally at 3601 Forbes Ave.

10:57 a.m. — Police responded to individuals who reported a noncriminal incident at 3400 Iroquois Way. Both parties involved were advised.
