1:49 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Thomas Benson, of 394 Burrows Ave., and non-affiliate Orlando Harris, of 2530 Centre Ave. for open container violations on DeSoto Street.

3:58 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with checking a property on Atwood Street.

8:23 p.m. – Police transported an individual from Oakland Avenue to a medical facility for evaluation.

Thursday, Nov. 22

10:06 a.m. – Officers found the door to room 1917 in the Cathedral of Learning open. The incident was cleared.

Friday, Nov. 23

10:11 a.m. – Officers checked a house on Yarrow Way with broken front windows and its front door wide open.

1:45 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Torin Matthews, of Light of Life Mission, 10 E. North Ave., for possession of drug paraphernalia on Atwood Street.

10:59 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a house fire at 1 Oakland Square.

11:28 p.m. – Medics transported an individual that had a seizure outside the 7-11 on Forbes Avenue to Presbyterian Hospital’s emergency room.

Saturday, Nov. 24

2:03 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate William Satterwhite, of 3731 Frazier St., for disorderly conduct on Oakland Avenue.

8:24 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a student who had his laptop taken from him while walking in Shadyside near Centre Plaza Apartments.

10:43 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate John Victor Coury, of 564 Maryland Ave., apartment 11, for scattering rubbish at the Exxon gas station on Forbes Avenue and McKee Place.

11:28 p.m. – A student’s room was found in disarray in Centre Plaza Apartments. An investigation is pending.

Sunday, Nov. 25

5:50 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a burglary at 351 Meyran Ave. The incident was cleared.

12:15 p.m. – Windows were found broken in Building D of Bouquet Gardens. An investigation is pending.

3:33 p.m. – A student discovered his front door had been forced open at the Centre Avenue Apartments and his apartment had been burglarized. An investigation is pending.

3:42 p.m. – A student reported the theft of her backpack at Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.

7:53 p.m. – An unknown individual caused damage to a window in College Garden Apartments on Walnut Street in Shadyside. An investigation is pending.

Monday, Nov. 26

9:45 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a traffic accident at Fifth and Lytton avenues.

12:17 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a vehicle accident at Fifth Avenue and Neville Street.

1:32 p.m. – Police recovered a men’s ring at the bus stop near the law school. They placed the ring in recovered property.

2:58 p.m. – A security guard reported a theft of money from the security booth in Litchfield Tower A. An investigation is pending.

4:16 p.m. – An individual turned over a lost passport found on Forbes Avenue.

7:55 p.m. – Due to inclement weather, Trees Hall had a power outage.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

12:20 a.m. – A student reported that an unknown female took money from him at Forbes Avenue and Oakland Avenue. An investigation is pending.

7:24 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Harold Meltzer, homeless, for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall.

8:43 a.m. – Officer observed and reported a vehicle accident at Forbes and Beeler avenues.

1:19 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Gary Page, homeless, for defiant trespass in the William Pitt Union.

1:37 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Gary Page, homeless, for scattering rubbish in the Schenley Quad.

1:48 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Gary Page, homeless, for disorderly conduct at Fifth Avenue and Thackery Street.

3:59 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Ade Sijuwade, of 141 Robinson St., for domestic violence at Sennot Street and Oakland Avenue.

11:04 p.m. – Police extinguished a trash can fire at the Sigma Chi fraternity house.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

1:53 p.m. – Officers checked on a suspicious female handing out flyers in Posvar Hall.

10:02 p.m. – A woman called the emergency phone line to report that a person was shot in the area of the Graduate School of Public Health. Officers checked the area to no avail and determined the caller to be misinformed.
