7:36 a.m. – A person reported that his vehicle was damaged while it was parked in the Posvar Hall loading dock.

9:39 a.m.- An RD reported several incidents of damage to University property on the ninth and tenth floors of Sutherland Hall West. An investigation is pending.

12:24 p.m. – Police responded to a vehicle accident at the corner of Forbes Avenue and Halket Street. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed from the scene.

4:16 p.m. – Someone turned in a hearing aid found at the corner of Forbes Avenue and Schenley Drive.

6:05 p.m. – Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue involving a University shuttle bus and a Nissan SUV. No injuries were reported, and the driver of the SUV was cited for driving with a suspended license.

8:01 p.m. – A person reported that his car windows were smashed while his vehicle was parked on Wadsworth Street.

10:31 p.m. – A fire alarm in Panther Hall was activated by burnt popcorn. Pittsburgh fire responded and a University engineer reset the system.

Friday, Oct. 26

2:52 a.m. – A fire alarm on the seventh floor of Panther Hall was activated by a Halloween smoke machine. Pittsburgh fire responded to the scene, and a University engineer reset the system.

10:12 a.m. – An officer found an unexploded firework on Schenley Drive near the Frick Fine Arts building. The fireworks company came and picked up the item.

12:16 p.m. – An officer reported slipping and falling while exercising his police dog at Mazerowski field.

8:47 p.m. – A man in Litchfield Tower C reported the theft of video games and a video game system from his room. An investigation is pending.

11:39 p.m. – Police cited student Meridith Ann Ypma, of Woodinville, Wa., for public intoxication in the 200 block of Meyran Avenue.

Saturday, Oct. 27

12:02 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Gregory J. Matuszewski, of 217 Colony Court, for underage drinking at the corner of Fifth and Bellefield avenues.

12:06 a.m. – Police responded to a fire alarm activated by an unknown cause at the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity house and shut down a large party in the building.

12:55 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Mark V. McGuire, of Philadelphia, Pa., in Lothrop Hall for activating a false fire alarm.

2:02 a.m. – Two people reported being robbed in the 200 block of Oakland Avenue. An investigation is pending.

12:16 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a man trapped in a building air shaft in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.

4:34 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a youth struck by a car in the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue.

10:15 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with an off-campus sexual assault in an apartment near Craft Avenue and the Boulevard of the Allies. An investigation is pending.

10:30 p.m. – Police cited student Kelsey Mcdey Fitzgerald, of Wayne, Pa., for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower B.

Sunday, Oct. 28

12:00 a.m. – Police cited student Brian Andrew Bair, of New Castle, Pa., for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower C.

5:50 a.m. – A fire alarm in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house was activated by the discharge of a fire extinguisher.

6:56 a.m. – Police cited student Zack Vincler, of Northampton, Pa., for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower A.

Monday, Oct. 29

1:31 a.m. – Police cited student Molly M. Griganavicius, of Elmhurst, Il., for disorderly conduct in Panther Hall.

7:53 a.m. – A staff member at Lothrop Hall reported the theft of an LCD projector. An investigation is pending.

3:52 p.m. – A sick individual at Posvar Hall was checked by Pittsburgh medics and declined further assistance. Police drove the individual to her residence.

8:10 p.m. – An officer extinguished a small trash can fire on the patio near the Litchfield Towers lobby.

8:37 p.m. – An officer smelled marijuana in building F of Bouquet Gardens. The officer then directed the judicial board to make referrals. An investigation is pending.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

5:55 a.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a sexual assault reported at a private residence in the 300 block of Bouquet Street.

6:09 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Derrick McLaughlin, of 1279 Decatur St., Apt. 203, for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of DeSoto Street.

6:19 p.m. – Police cited Brandon McClure, of 3456 Bates St., for public drunkenness in the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

9:52 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Herold Meltzer, homeless, for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall.

12:44 p.m. – Officers escorted an individual sleeping in a Parran Hall restroom out of the building.

2:58 p.m. – Police cited a juvenile for toting a facsimile of a firearm at Parkman Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.

10:13 p.m. – Police cited students Nicholas Joseph Frontera, of Vista, Ca., and Ty Randall Kohnfelder, of 251 Oneida St., for a marijuana offense and disorderly conduct in Lothrop Hall.
