Thursday, Feb. 15
2:02 p.m. – Officers received a report of someone smoking marijuana… Thursday, Feb. 15
2:02 p.m. – Officers received a report of someone smoking marijuana at the William Pitt Union. The person left before officers arrived, and the incident was cleared.
3:29 p.m. – A wallet and three credit cards found outside of the William Pitt Union were turned in to the police station and placed in recovered property. The incident was cleared.
4:41 p.m. – Three juveniles were charged with theft from coin-operated machines in David Lawrence Hall. The incident was cleared.
Friday, Feb. 16
1:11 a.m. – Officers assisted Children’s Hospital police with the arrest of student Andrew Hope, of West Hartford, Conn., for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and underage drinking at Children’s Hospital. The incident was cleared.
6:59 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a check on the welfare of a student in the 300 block of Melwood Street. The incident was cleared.
8:23 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Richard L. Brown, of Wilkinsburg, Pa., for defiant trespass and disorderly conduct at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.
Saturday, Feb 17
1:36 a.m. – The use of a fire extinguisher activated a fire alarm system in Bruce Hall. The incident was cleared.
2:02 a.m. – Police arrested student Ben Tropp, of 3206 Dawson St., for disorderly conduct at Atwood and Sennott streets.
3:17 p.m. – A person reported damage to his car from ice falling off of the Fitzgerald Field House. The incident was cleared.
11:55 p.m. – A fire alarm system was activated by a false alarm in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. The incident was cleared.
Sunday, Feb. 18
1:22 a.m. – Officers moderated a domestic dispute concerning residents of Litchfield Tower C. The parties resolved their problems, and the incident was cleared.
3:07 a.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Michael G. Bachman, of Villanova, Pa., for criminal mischief in the 200 block of Semple Street.
5:23 p.m. – Officers reported a missing stop sign on University Drive. The officers will determine if the sign was stolen or was taken down by another agency. The incident was cleared.
6:13 p.m. – A person with an injury was transported to the hospital by a patrol car. The incident was cleared.
Monday, Feb. 19
10:23 a.m. – A person reported the unauthorized use of her credit cards, which were previously stolen. An investigation is pending.
2:34 p.m. – A person reported finding a window of his car broken in the Sennott Square parking lot. The incident was cleared.
9:50 p.m. – Officers assisted the Pittsburgh Fire Department with a car on fire in the Schenley Quad. The incident was cleared.
Tuesday, Feb. 20
12:09 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported robbery in the 300 block of Melwood Avenue. The incident was cleared.
11:31 a.m. – A person reported the theft of several items from his room in Litchfield Tower B. An investigation is pending.
12:38 p.m. – A person reported the theft of his computer in Posvar Hall. The incident was cleared.
2:00 p.m. – A person found that the side window of his truck had been broken into near Salk Hall. The incident was cleared.
2:06 p.m. – An ill person was checked by Pittsburgh Medics at David Lawrence Hall and refused further assistance. The incident was cleared.
