9:29 a.m.- A custodial supervisor reported that he saw an unauthorized person in a custodial closet in the Cathedral of Learning. The person was gone before officers arrived. The incident was cleared.
12:15 p.m.- Cooking activities at the Delta Sigma Delta house activated the fire alarm system. The incident was cleared.
4:06 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Gary Gill Jr., of Lawrence, Pa., for defiant trespass near David Lawrence Hall.
9:31 p.m. – A person parked in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue reported damage to his car from a window screen that fell from Brackenridge Hall. The incident was cleared.
Wednesday, June 28
2:24 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Jason Richard Ryan, of Wexford, Pa., for drunken driving in the 300 block of Semple Street.
8:21 a.m. – A person reported receiving a suspicious solicitation at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street. An investigation is pending.
5:20 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliates Milton Hunt, of 2005 Wyandotte St., and Michael Conner, of 8890 Court St., for open container violations in the 3800 block of Fifth Avenue.
11:31 p.m. – A person turned over a found diploma. The item was placed in recovered property. The incident was cleared.
Thursday, June 29
1:54 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate James White, of 250 N. Highland Ave., for retail theft at 3990 Forbes Avenue.
10:07 a.m. – An ill person was transported to the hospital by the Pittsburgh medics. The incident was cleared.
10:23 a.m. – An officer reported an accident involving a University vehicle in the 200 block of Lothrop Street. The incident was cleared.
4:07 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Steven J. Schlacter, of Blawnox, Pa., for two counts of retail theft on the 3700 block of Euler Way.
10:13 p.m. – A staff member in the William Pitt Union reported damage to a telephone. The incident was cleared.
Friday, June 30
12:46 a.m. – A person notified police about a male showing up on campus to harass her daughter at McCormick Hall. A police report had been filed in another jurisdiction.
7:53 p.m. – Police noticed a suspicious man at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. The individual ran from officers and it was found that the man had several warrants. Police were unable to locate the individual.
Saturday, July 1
3:10 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Thomas Mark DeGore, of 282 Ashland Ave., for possession of drug paraphernalia on Bates Street. The incident was cleared.
Sunday, July 2
8:21 a.m. – A person reported the theft of a cell phone at Hillman Library. The incident was cleared.
Monday, July 3
5:42 a.m. – Officers recovered credit cards and a driver’s license in Posvar Hall. The items were placed in recovered property. The incident was cleared.
