9:58 a.m. – A woman reported that soccer shoes were stolen from her car on Dunseith Street.
10:43 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a missing person on the North Side.
12:04 p.m. – Police assisted the West Elizabeth Police Department with a check on a former University employee.
12:50 p.m. – Someone reported being assaulted in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue. An investigation is pending.
4:01 p.m. – An officer extinguished a trash-can fire at the intersection of Bouquet Street and Fifth Avenue.
9:38 p.m. – Students in the University Drive parking lot were referred to the Judicial Board for disorderly acts.
10:11 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Csilisa Ebony Whitehead, of Beaver Falls, Pa., for defiant trespass near Detre Hall.
11:18 p.m. – Police responded to a complaint from Sutherland Hall for a domestic disturbance between a resident and a guest. Police escorted the guest from the building.
11:35 p.m. – A person with an injury on a Pitt shuttle at Centre Avenue and Craig Street was transported to the hospital by Pittsburgh medics.
Saturday, Jan. 28
1:03 a.m. – A fire alarm at Bouquet Gardens was activated by the discharge of a fire extinguisher.
7:21 a.m. – Custodians in the Cathedral of Learning turned over a set of keys. The items were placed in recovered property.
12:06 p.m. – An officer on Terrace Street cited and towed a car parked in an area posted no parking for the basketball game traffic detail.
2:13 p.m. – An officer located and recovered a stolen vehicle on Parkman Street. The owner was notified and he recovered his car.
2:27 p.m. – A student reported a confrontation with another student.
3:12 p.m. – A person in the Old Cemetery parking lot turned over a key found on the stairs of the lot. The item was placed in recovered property.
3:34 p.m. – William Pitt Union staff turned over a found wallet. The item was placed in recovered property.
8:34 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Andrew Jones, of 1619 Laketon Road, for defiant trespass in the William Pitt Union.
9:06 p.m. – An officer cited a driver for driving without a license at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Bates Street. The vehicle was towed.
10:19 p.m. – A woman reported that her purse was stolen from Litchfield Towers.
Sunday, Jan. 29
12:37 a.m. – Pitt Police assisted CMU Police in the citation of a student for underage drinking.
1:13 a.m. – Student Michael J. Potsko, of Litchfield Tower A, was cited for underage drinking in the Towers.
2:15 a.m. – Police cited student Kyle L. Wagaman, of Manchester, Pa., for underage drinking in Forbes Hall.
2:11 p.m. – Someone in Litchfield Tower B reported receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.
10:46 p.m. – A woman in Litchfield Tower B reported the theft of items from her room. An investigation is pending.
Monday, Jan. 30
12:57 p.m. – A woman reported the theft of her sweatpants from the Petersen Events Center.
5:49 p.m. – A person who was hit by a Pitt shuttle was transported to the hospital by Pittsburgh medics.
5:49 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Marion W. Mays, of 408 Atwood St., for public drunkenness at the intersection of Forbes and Oakland avenues.
9:01 p.m. – An officer recovered a vehicle that was wanted for unauthorized use. The owner was notified and the truck was towed.
11:27 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of the theft of a student’s computer stolen while in transit on a Greyhound Bus from Toledo, Ohio.
11:27 p.m. – A custodian in David Lawrence Hall turned over a purse found in the building. The item was placed in recovered property.
Tuesday, Jan. 31
3:07 p.m. – A person near Posvar Hall turned over a bank deposit envelope with a check and money. The owner was located and the property was returned.
5:14 p.m. – A guard in the Petersen Events Center turned over a found bankcard. The item was placed in recovered property.
7:33 p.m. – A person on Oakland Avenue reported receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.
9:07 p.m. – Computer lab staff in Posvar Hall turned over a social security card found in the lab. The item was placed in recovered property.
10:52 p.m. – An ATM machine’s alarm was activated near Lothrop Hall. Officers checked the machine and found it secure.
Wednesday, Feb. 1
2:38 a.m. – An intrusion alarm in Eberly Hall was accidentally activated by a researcher.
8:40 a.m. – Officers assisted another law enforcement agency with an inquiry concerning disturbing phone calls. The incident was cleared.
1:20 p.m. – An officer took a report of a truck hitting a bollard in a driveway near Biomedical Science Tower 3.
6:21 p.m. – An officer cited a car that was parked in an area posted no parking for the basketball game on Sutherland Drive. The officer also confiscated a suspended license plate.
10:07 p.m. – Officers assisted Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic security in detaining a patient who was to be committed.
10:07 p.m. – Someone in Holland Hall reported receiving a harassing phone call. An investigation is pending.
Thursday, Feb. 2
9:34 a.m. – An officer assisted Allegheny County deputies with a search for a man wanted on a warrant.
12:42 p.m. – A staff member in The Book Center reported an incident of retail theft. An investigation is pending.
3:10 p.m. – A man reported finding damage to his car in a University parking lot.
7:28 p.m. – Someone who was stuck in an elevator in Litchfield Tower B was released by an elevator repairman.
8:56 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his iPod from Alumni Hall.
10:52 p.m. – An officer assisted a resident assistant with a complaint about the smell of marijuana in Litchfield Tower A. The resident assistant will complete a judicial board referral.
Friday, Feb. 3
12:59 a.m. – Police cited student Bryn Baughman, of Latrobe, Pa., for underage drinking near Schenley Quadrangle.
1:34 a.m. – A person reported three suspicious people at the Cathedral of Learning asking about building security. Officers located individuals and identified them. The people were found to be students.
5:55 a.m. – A computer alarm in Hillman Library was activated. An officer checked the area and found it to be secure.
