3:44 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Puac Hector… Monday, Dec. 19

3:44 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Puac Hector Manuel Baquiax, of no fixed address, for giving false ID to law enforcement.

11:45 p.m. – An officer cited and towed a vehicle near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard that was parked in a posted area and hindering the flow of traffic.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

12:28 a.m. – A fire alarm in the Law School was activated by a malfunction. An engineer and an electrician were notified.

10:22 a.m. – Someone reported the unauthorized use of a University credit card. An investigation is pending.

3:14 p.m. – An officer found a damaged vending machine in Posvar Hall.

6:14 p.m. – A staff member reported that her car was struck by a school bus at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Bouquet Street. An investigation is pending.

7:44 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Anthony Woods, of 3605 Childs St., for defiant trespass in David Lawrence Hall.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

8:53 a.m. – Officers and an engineer searched Sutherland Hall for the source of an odor, but were unable to determine the cause.

10:29 a.m. – A smoke detector in McCormick Hall was falsely activated.

1:19 p.m. – A staff member reported some loose concrete at the Graduate School of Public Health building. Officers assisted in setting up barricades.

2:07 p.m. – A staff member reported that juveniles were tampering with a nationality room display in the Cathedral of Learning.

4 p.m. – A man reported the unauthorized entry of someone else into his car, near the Music Building. Nothing was taken and no damage was noted.

4:45 p.m. – A man reported a theft from his car, which was parked on Bigelow Boulevard near the Cathedral of Learning.

5:19 p.m. – A car was cited and towed from O’Hara Street for parking in an area that was designated no-parking for the basketball game.

5:21 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with an auto accident at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.

6:52 p.m. – An intrusion alarm in Alumni Hall was activated. An officer checked the area and found it to be secure.

10:51 p.m. – An officer monitored a dispute between two staff members in the Petersen Events Center.

11:14 p.m. – A woman reported that her purse was stolen from the Petersen Events Center.

Thursday, Dec. 22

8:27 a.m. – An officer took a report of a minor auto accident involving University vehicles on the Posvar Hall loading dock apron.

9:50 a.m. – A man reported the theft of his personal digital assistant from Posvar Hall.

2:48 p.m. – A broken pipe flooded part of Sutherland Hall and activated the fire alarm.

3:24 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Valerie D. Piner, of 204 Reiter St., on a warrant for burglary.

9:12 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in a search for suspects in a robbery of a business in the 4600 block of Centre Avenue.

9:59 p.m. – An officer reported finding that the front glass of a vending machine in David Lawrence Hall had been removed.

Friday, Dec. 23

1:55 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with crowd control at an incident in the 3600 block of Forbes Avenue.

2:10 a.m. – Police cited student [record expunged Jan. 13 2010], for harassment in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.

7:41 a.m. – A heat detector in the boiler room of the Falk School activated the building’s fire alarm system. An engineer was notified.
