1:15 p.m. A repairman released people who were stuck in an elevator in the Cathedral of Learning.
3:10 p.m. Police arrested non-affiliate Connie McCallen, of New Derry, Pa., for theft at Salk Hall.
10:26 p.m. The intrusion alarm in Centre Plaza Apartments went off. Officers found the area secure and the incident was cleared.
11:40 p.m. A video store in Sennott Square reported an incident of retail theft.
Wednesday, May 11
8:25 p.m. Police arrested non-affiliate Robert Jonathan Heisel, of 3441 Fleming Ave., for an outstanding warrant, at the corner Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street.
8:33 p.m. Workers accidentally activated the intrusion alarm at Centre Plaza Apartments. The incident was cleared.
Thursday, May 12
9:00 a.m. Police responded to a fire alarm in Trees Hall. The City of Pittsburgh fire inspector was on the scene and said the alarm was activated as part of a test.
11:07 a.m. The security alarm in the William Pitt Union was activated. Police suspect the system malfunctioned. An investigation is pending.
11:17 a.m. Someone stole tools from locked metal boxes in Trees Hall. An investigation is pending.
1:44 p.m. Officers responded to smoke on the patio side of the Cathedral of Learning, near Heinz Chapel, and extinguished a fire in the grating.
Friday, May 13
1:34 p.m. Burning food in a microwave activated a smoke detector in the Cathedral of Learning.
2:19 p.m. A woman reported that she received harassing e-mails in her campus account at her off-campus residence. An investigation is pending.
4:12 p.m. An officer extinguished a fire on the hillside near the Frick Fine Arts Building.
5:02 p.m. Police arrested non-affiliate Joseph Geigler, of 405 Oakland Ave., for theft in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.
Saturday, May 14
3:32 p.m. Police cited the driver of a vehicle with a suspended registration and confiscated the vehicle’s license plate.
Monday, May 16
9:53 a.m. Someone stole a printer from an office in Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.
11:12 a.m. An officer cited the driver of a vehicle that struck a University truck and then left the scene.
