12:24 a.m. — An officer investigated a noise complaint involving an organization holding an event on the lawn of the William Pitt Union. The incident was cleared.

12:28 a.m. — Cleaning activities in the Cathedral of Learning activated a fire alarm.

2:01 a.m. — Student Mallory Bucher, of Gettysburg, Pa., was cited for underage drinking in Schenley Quadrangle.

2:03 a.m. — A person reported being physically harassed between Sutherland and Pennsylvania halls. An investigation is pending.

9:44 a.m. — Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a UPS truck and a Lenzner shuttle, near the intersection of University Place and O’Hara Street. Officers found that the accident was non-reportable, and the incident was cleared.

10:42 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a person who had frequented the same area of the William Pitt Union for the past few days, but the person was gone when officers arrived at the scene.

Saturday, April 9

1:05 a.m. — A man in Bouquet Gardens, Building D, reported returning to his apartment and finding a window broken and holes kicked into his walls.

2:44 a.m. — Student Jessica Smith, of Allentown, Pa., was cited for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.

3:45 a.m. — Officers responded to a call from two women in Bruce Hall, who said a man had used a key to unlock their door. The man was a white man wearing an orange T-shirt and a bandana on his head. An investigation is pending.

4:04 a.m. — Officers investigated damage to the sidewalk outside Sennott Square. Someone inflicted the damage by driving on the sidewalk.

4:17 a.m. — Police in Forbes-Craig Apartments cited student Darcy Henderson, of Forbes-Craig Apartments, for underage drinking.

9:04 a.m. — Officers assisted city police in responding to an armed robbery on Semple Street. The incident was cleared at the scene.

10:21 a.m. — Officers investigated a suspicious man in the Cathedral of Learning. The police located the man and investigated his statement. The man was released without incident.

Sunday, April 10

12:11 a.m. — Student Barrett Clark Wimer, of Hollidaysburg, Pa., was cited for underage drinking.

12:59 a.m. — Police cited nonaffiliate John Willia Balistrieri, of 417 Dargan St., for disorderly conduct.

1:03 a.m. — A fire alarm was activated when someone threw a bag of burned popcorn into the trash room in Tower C.

3:40 a.m. — Police cited student Thomas Redding, of 3955 Forbes Ave., Room 414, for underage drinking.

3:47 p.m. — A towed vehicle was taken from a lot, but the owner did not pay for services. An investigation is pending.

Monday, April 11

5:40 a.m. — A man in the Frick Fine Arts Building reported that he had fallen from a 6-foot ladder and was bleeding. The custodial supervisor transported the man to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

9:30 a.m. — An elevator hydraulic pump in Posvar Hall spilled fluid on the elevator’s motor, causing smoke and setting off smoke detectors. Officials determined that the fluid was nonflammable and not a danger, and the incident was cleared.

12:26 p.m. — A Pitt police vehicle broke down on the Parkway east and had to be towed to the motor pool. The incident was cleared.

8:50 p.m. — Someone reported the theft of a bicycle from the bike rack on the Bigelow side of Posvar Hall.

9:16 p.m. — Officers received a report of a disorderly crowd, and possibly a fight, in Towers lobby. Police dispersed the crowd.

9:20 p.m. — City medics responded to help an unconscious woman in Towers. The medics treated the woman, who was not transported to the hospital.
