1:39 p.m. — Officers in Scaife Hall assisted UPMC Presbyterian Hospital security responding to a visitor problem. A person was asked to leave the property, and the incident was cleared.
3:14 p.m. — A person in the Frick Fine Arts Building reported the theft of her Pitt ID. An ID replacement letter was issued.
5: 11 p.m. — A person in Litchfield Tower B reported the theft of a video camera. An investigation is pending.
Tuesday, March 29
10:59 a.m. — A person reported the off-campus theft of her Pitt ID from Swissvale. An ID replacement letter was issued.
11:33 a.m. — Officers checked on the welfare of a student in the William Pitt Union, at the request of Student Affairs and a parent. An investigation is pending.
1:22 p.m. — Officers assisted city police in responding to a vehicular accident on Terrace Street.
1:51 p.m. — City medics transported an ill person from the Frick Fine Arts building to the hospital.
2:14 p.m. — A man at Trees Hall reported the theft of his Pitt ID. The incident was cleared.
4:07 p.m. — An officer observed a malfunctioning garage door at the Learning and Information Sciences building. An engineer was notified and a repair request was filed.
4:57 p.m. — A woman reported that her Pitt ID was stolen while she was on a Port Authority Transit bus. An ID replacement letter was issued.
5:21 p.m. — A woman in Tower B reported the theft of her wallet and Pitt ID. An ID replacement letter was issued, and the incident was cleared.
6:20 p.m. — City medics transported a person with an injury from Trees Hall to the hospital.
8:59 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Robert Dimarco, of no fixed address, was arrested at Victoria Hall for presenting false ID to law enforcement.
9:10 p.m. — Officers reported that a vehicle had backed into an unmarked police car at Bouquet and Sennott streets. The incident was cleared.
Wednesday, March 30
2:42 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Richard Edward, of Phenix, Va., was arrested at UPMC for disorderly conduct.
2:52 a.m. — Student Aaron Bubenheim, of Valencia, Pa., was cited for public intoxication.
8:14 a.m. — Officers assisted city police in responding to a person struck by a car at Fifth Avenue and Halket Street.
8:39 a.m. — A staff member activated an intrusion alarm by accident in Bruce Hall.
8:40 a.m. — Student Edward Spath, of Sutherland Hall, was cited for harassment.
9:05 a.m. — A woman in Sutherland Hall reported the theft of money from her wallet.
9:53 a.m. — A man at the Petersen Events Center reported the theft of his Pitt ID. An ID replacement letter was issued.
11:14 a.m. — A man in Sutherland Hall reported the theft of his wallet and Pitt ID. An ID replacement letter was issued.
11:19 a.m. — A guard in the Cathedral of Learning reported finding graffiti in the stairwell. The incident was cleared.
12:54 p.m. — Guardian Protection reported that its Verizon phone lines were out of service. Notifications to Health and Safety and Facilities Management were made, and the incident was cleared.
3:09 p.m. — A guard in Tower A reported unauthorized people in the building. The people were located and the resident director handled the problem.
4:26 p.m. — A person reported being harassed in Schenley Quadrangle.
11:49 p.m. — A person reported the theft of items from his truck at the Melwood Warehouse parking lot.
Thursday, March 31 1:17 a.m. — An officer reported that a truck damaged a pipe in the loading dock. An engineer was notified.
4:41 a.m. — An officer found an unusual note in a lounge in Lothrop Hall. The item was entered into evidence and the incident was cleared.
