8:36 a.m. – The fire alarm system in Bruce Hall was activated in the penthouse. The Pittsburgh Fire Department checked the area, with negative results.

11:48 a.m. – The fire alarm system in Mervis Hall was accidentally activated by a 3-year-old child. The incident was cleared.

2:58 p.m. – A person reported the burglary of his apartment in Bouquet Gardens Building B. An investigation is pending.

5:03 p.m. – A student turned over an mp3 player found on the second floor of the Cathedral of Learning to an officer. The item was placed in recovered property.

8:00 p.m. – A person reported a water leak in her office. An engineer was notified, and the incident was cleared.

10:14 p.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh Police with an unauthorized person in a building on the 300 block of Meyran Avenue. The incident was cleared.

2:11 a.m. – Non-affiliate Benjamin A. Lowe, of 714 Lamar Ave., was arrested for presenting false identification to law enforcement in David Lawrence Hall.
