As part of The Pitt News’ effort to check Pittsburgh’s political pulse, we conducted an… As part of The Pitt News’ effort to check Pittsburgh’s political pulse, we conducted an informal survey of political signs and decals around South Oakland. Our survey boundaries were from S. Bouquet to Semple streets, Forbes Avenue to Dawson Street. Of the houses surveyed, approximately one in five had some sort of sign. The below chart shows the percentages of the 94 houses with signs. “For Rent” appears to be the most popular candidate in the coming Nov. 2 elections.
