This year’s “Backyard Brawl” between Pitt and West Virginia will be played on Thanksgiving at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 8 a.m.

The last time WVU came to Pitt, in 2002, the game attracted the largest crowd in Heinz Field history with 66,731 fans in attendance.
