11:21 p.m. — Police on the 200 block of Atwood Street cited a juvenile, unaffiliated with the University, for disorderly conduct.

Friday, Sept. 10

12:58 a.m. –Student Ryan Bard, of 427 Highland Road, was cited on the 4000 block of Fifth Avenue for underage drinking.

2:09 a.m. — Police assisted city police in responding to a report of a loud party on the 200 block of Dithridge Street. Judicial board complaints were filed.

4:28 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Mark Norvell, of 1238 Franklin Ave., was arrested on Robinson Street Extension on outstanding warrants.

5:13 p.m. — Someone reported an incident of physical harassment on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.

6:27 p.m. — Police received information from an off-campus source concerning criminal activity on campus.

7:57 p.m. — Someone in Holland Hall reported the theft of property. Officers later determined that the report was a prank, and the incident was cleared.

Saturday, Sept. 11

1:32 a.m. — Student Brittny McKinney, of Butler, Pa., was cited near the fraternity parking lot for underage drinking.

1:34 a.m. — An officer in the William Pitt Union took reports of possible unauthorized photographs taken at a dance.

2:14 a.m. — Police in Schenley Plaza cited student Walter Myal, of Ruffs Dale, Pa., for disorderly conduct.

2:21 a.m. — Student Michael McCloskey, of 4716 Ellsworth Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house.

1:51 p.m. — A guard in Lothrop Hall received a call from an unknown person who seemed to be disturbed. A residential director was advised.

1:53 p.m. — Cars parked in an area reserved for shuttles going to the football game, in front of the Union, were cited and towed.

4:37 p.m. — A woman reported that her purse was stolen while she was working at a picnic on the Union patio.

4:53 p.m. — Officers on the 300 block of Atwood Street issued three citations for open-container violations; nonaffiliate Mark Storino, of 812 Norwich Ave., and University affiliates David Ulam, of 8 Melba Place, and Michael Pudup, of 1850 Seaton St., were cited.

5:33 p.m. — Officers assisted with a car on fire in the UPMC garage near Victoria and Darragh streets.

7:11 p.m. — Police recovered a pole and a parking meter beside Bouquet Gardens Building A. The items were placed in recovered property.

9:43 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Jason Pock, of 601 Clyde St., was cited at the intersection of Forbes and Oakland avenues for disorderly conduct.

9:55 p.m. — On the Posvar Hall patio, police cited students Ryan Thornburg and Domenic Mercuri, both of Pottsville, Pa., for disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Sept. 12

3:10 a.m. — Officers assisted city police responding to reports of a loud party on the 200 block of North Dithridge Street.

7:29 p.m. — Two students, one a juvenile and the other Christopher Valencia, of 606 Sutherland Hall, were cited for public drunkenness on the hillside below the SC lot.

11:28 p.m. — An officer found a computer monitor on the first floor of Posvar Hall. The item was placed in recovered property.

Monday, Sept. 13

7:14 a.m. — Someone reported that two men were sleeping in a car in a parking lot on Ruskin Avenue. Officers checked the property and asked the men to leave.

9:40 a.m. — A woman in Bouquet Gardens Building B reported a disturbance in her hallway. She said someone kicked her door and left a shoe print. Officers checked the area but did not find anything.

4:03 p.m. — Someone at the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity house reported that a known person had broken a glass door.

4:16 p.m. — A man outside the Frick Fine Arts building reported the theft of his bike wheel.

4:55 p.m. — A faculty member in Victoria Hall expressed concern that another staff person might be the subject of a possible harassment.

5:45 p.m. — A person was reportedly stuck in an elevator in Sennott Square, but the trapped person could not be located. An engineer took the elevator out of service, and the incident was cleared.

9:53 p.m. — Officers in Holland Hall assisted city police responding to a reported auto theft on the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue.
