4:03 a.m. — A juvenile was arrested for spray-painting a building on Fifth Avenue.
5:33 p.m. — Officers responded to a family dispute in the Biomedical Tower. The incident was cleared at the scene.
Wednesday, July 14
7:28 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Arnell Azeem Sr., of 2001 Groove Place, received a citation for defiant trespass into Parran Hall.
11:13 a.m. — A person reported the theft of cash and checks in the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.
3:53 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Ian Lange, of 3112 Niagara St., received a citation for public drunkenness near Lawrence Hall.
7:28 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Anthony Thurman, of no fixed address, was arrested for defiant trespass into Crawford Hall.

1:23 a.m. — Jonathan Ferrara, of Bethlehem, Pa., was arrested for disorderly conduct and Barri Shank, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, was arrested for public lewdness near the Law School.
2:10 a.m. — Adam Male was arrested in the lobby of Litchfield Towers for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
2:29 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Angela Lombardo, of Verona, Pa., was arrested at an undisclosed location on an outstanding warrant.
9:08 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Roscoe Young III, of 569 Clarissa St., was cited for disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Oakland Avenue.

7:32 p.m. — On the corner of Bouquet Street and Fifth Avenue, nonaffiliate Che Harris, of Homestead, Pa., was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.
10:34 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Ryan Bittner, of Hermitage, Pa., was arrested on the 200 block of Oakland Avenue for the possession of an illegal weapon.

3:28 p.m. — A vehicle reportedly hit an ambulance in a parking lot at UPMC, and then left the scene.

9:30 p.m. — A Pitt police officer and several city police officers interviewed a person who came to UPMC hospital with a bullet wound.

2:33 p.m. — A University vehicle at the corner of Bates Street and the Boulevard of the Allies was struck by another vehicle, which fled the scene.

2:30 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Tammy Lynn Watson, of 7110 Grand Ave., received a citation on the 300 block of Bouquet Street for an open container.
3:41 p.m. — A woman from the United Kingdom called to report that a student at a Pitt branch campus had posted alarming information on an Internet bulletin board. An investigation is pending.

10:37 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a car on fire in the O’Hara Garage. No one was hurt and the incident was cleared.

2:08 p.m. — Construction workers at the Biomedical Tower accidentally cut an electrical power line, causing a power outage in some University buildings.

2:08 a.m. — Officers responded to a fight in Bouquet Gardens. Those involved were removed from the building.
12:21 p.m. — Nonaffiliate John C. Pietryka, of Lower Burrell, Pa., received a citation for an open container violation on the 5500 block of Fifth Avenue.
4:57 p.m. — Nonaffiliate William Connomacher, of Cheswick, Pa., was arrested at the corner of Centre Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard on an outstanding warrant.
7:32 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Charles Sekerski, of 314 Burrows St., was arrested at the corner of Sennott and Atwood streets on an outstanding warrant.

3:03 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Raub Robinson, of 3033 Springwood St., was arrested at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard for burglary. A juvenile accomplice was also arrested.
4:27 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Pitt shuttle bus near the corner of Darragh and Victoria streets. No one was injured.

8:51 a.m. — A staff person in the Chevron Science Center reported the theft of a propane gas tank from a grill. The incident was cleared at the scene
3:07 p.m. — A truck backed into the retaining wall of a loading dock in the Chevron Science Center.
10:28 p.m. — A person reported that his apartment on Oakland Avenue had been burglarized. An investigation is pending.
Thursday, Aug. 12
1:23 a.m. — Officers assisted city police with a reported robbery on the corner of Cable Way and Atwood Street.
11:48 a.m. — An employee reported missing building equipment in the Peterson Events Center.
12:00 p.m. — A person reported receiving threatening phone calls in Thackeray Hall. An investigation is pending.
12:51 p.m. — A woman reported the theft of her credit cards in Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.
3:32 p.m. — Officers in Posvar Hall found three unauthorized juveniles, whom they took to a police station and released to the juveniles’ parents.
6:09 p.m. –Nonaffiliate Ira Perry, of 5601 Penn Ave., was cited for unauthorized vending at the corner of Forbes and Meyran avenues.
6:16 p.m. — An officer on the corner of Forbes Avenue and Schenley Drive cited a driver for driving with a suspended registration. The officer seized the driver’s license plate and had the car towed.

8:01 a.m. — Police advised a suspicious person to leave the Medical Arts Building.
2:22 p.m. — Police assisted officers from Carlow College’s police force in searching for a suspect in the Coltart Street area.

1:37 p.m. — A staff member in the William Pitt Union reported that an unauthorized person had used her computer after business hours. An investigation is pending.

9:25 a.m. — A person in the Cathedral of Learning reported receiving a threatening letter.
12:57 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Tab Edward Brown, of 958 Woodlow St., was arrested on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Tennyson Street for receiving stolen property.
3:42 p.m. — Nonaffiliates Stanley Williams, of 521 Landless Place, and Kimberly Lambert, of 2115 Rose St., received citations for open container violations on Mazeroski Field.
6:49 p.m. –John M. Glass and Michael Anthony Toli, both nonaffiliates of no fixed addresses, were issued citations for vending without licenses near the Law School.
6:52 p.m. –An officer recovered an abandoned, stolen vehicle on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.
Wednesday, Aug. 18
7:40 a.m. — An officer cited a driver for driving with a suspended registration on Schenley Drive. The driver’s license plate was confiscated and the car was towed.
7:46 a.m. — An officer cited a driver and towed a car that was blocking the parking lot next to the Frick Fine Arts Building.
8:45 a.m. — Pitt staff members reported multiple thefts from offices in the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.
10:20 a.m. — A vending machine in Allen Hall was reportedly broken into. An investigation is pending.
11:18 a.m. — Officers assisted city police with the arrest of a person for auto theft on Devonshire Street.
5:28 p.m. — An officer accidentally broke a key to Bellefield Hall while locking a door.
7:01 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Derrick Payne, of no fixed address, received a citation for trespassing and an open container violation in a parking lot on Bouquet Street.
