Thursday, May 27 1:09 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Matthew Emili, of 116 Central Square, Apartment H, was arrested for driving under the influence at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Lothrop Street.
3:23 p.m. — A person turned in a calculator at Hillman Library. The item was placed in recovered property.
6:20 p.m. — A Pitt employee reported that a University-owned broom and dust pan were taken from his vehicle, which was parked in the lot on the corner of Bouquet Street and Fifth Avenue.
Friday, May 28 8:21 a.m. — The smoke detectors in Victoria Hall were activated by a burning plastic lid that was accidentally placed on a stove burner.
3:28 p.m. — A person reported losing a wallet on the 300 block of Atwood Street.
4:47 p.m. — A Pitt police officer assisted city police in responding to a report of cars stolen from the Emerson Avenue parking lot.
5:52 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Eben Dervin, of 1601 Brighton Road, was cited for underage drinking in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.
7:01 p.m. — Officers found open doors in Thackeray Hall. They checked and secured the area.
Saturday, May 29 1:01 a.m. –Jesse Creegan, of Scranton, Pa., was arrested in the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue for open lewdness.
4:23 p.m. — Nonaffiliate Brian Barefoot, of Murrysville, Pa., was cited for disorderly conduct in the Cathedral of Learning.
Sunday, May 30 3:33 p.m. — A person in the Schenley Quadrangle asking students to cash checks was escorted from the area and given trespass warnings.
Monday, May 31 5:13 p.m. — A person in Brackenridge Hall reported the theft of a Razor scooter. An investigation is pending.
Tuesday, June 1 3:20 a.m. — Custodians reported an unauthorized person sleeping in the Cathedral. Officers checked the building, with negative results.
