-5:59 a.m. — A person stuck in a Posvar Hall elevator released… Monday, April 12
-5:59 a.m. — A person stuck in a Posvar Hall elevator released himself.
-7:20 a.m. — Police checked a suspicious container on the front steps of Craig Hall. Officers found it be contractors’ equipment.
-8:06 a.m. — A supervisor at a construction site on University Drive reported damage to equipment.
-9:30 a.m. — Police had an internal investigation in Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.
-9:51 a.m. — An officer confiscated road signs from a room in Bouquet Gardens Building G. Police filed judicial board papers.
-1:04 p.m. — Workers accidentally set off an alarm in Salk Hall while servicing ductwork.
-2:31 p.m. — Police nonaffiliate arrested Anthony C. Simpson, of 5032 Centre Ave., with an Allegheny County warrant.
-3:40 p.m. — A woman reported that her wallet was taken from Room 2320 of the Cathedral of Learning.
-5:16 p.m. — A woman in Holland Hall reported damage to her property.
-5:41 p.m. — A person reported a vehicle accident on the J lot exit ramp.
-6:07 p.m. — A woman reported the loss of her wallet while in the Petersen Events Center.
-6:34 p.m. — Officers had a tow company move vehicles parked under a tree that was about to fall near the University Drive parking lot.
-9:02 p.m. — Police cited nonaffiliate Mario Mckee, of 1601 Fifth Ave., for library theft.
Tuesday, April 13
-3:20 a.m. — A guard found a passport and a computer cord in Hillman Library. Police placed the items in recovered property.
-3:04 p.m. — Police received a report of graffiti in a Music Building restroom.
-3:27 p.m. — A person reported that personal items were taken from Bellefield Hall on April 8.
-3:56 p.m. — An officer issued a citation and towed a vehicle on Fifth Avenue and DeSoto Street.
-8:53 p.m. — A woman reported that her jacket was stolen from Posvar Hall.
-11:15 p.m. –An officer found graffiti on the Melwood Warehouse.
Wednesday, April 14
-3:21 a.m. — A woman in the Litchfield Towers reported the theft of her wallet.
-3:29 a.m. — A person reported damage to a sign at Fifth and Bellefield avenues.
