-11:29 a.m. – Panther Central turned over a load of laundry left in a machine. Police notified the owner. The item was placed in recovered property.
-3:10 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Richard Mitchell, of 114 Moultrie Street, for defiant trespass.
-11:55 p.m. – A guard observed activity in the lobby of the Petersen Events Center. Officers could not locate persons that the guard observed.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
-11:04 p.m. – A person in the Cathedral of Learning reported receiving calls from a fax machine on her office phone.
-11:20 a.m. – A person reported the theft of a stepladder from the William Pitt Union. An investigation is pending.
-1:58 p.m. – Someone at the Falk School reported that her vehicle was broken into and her purse was taken. An investigation is pending.
-5:15 p.m. – A person found under the rear stairs of Benedum Hall was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Wednesday, Dec. 17
-10:45 a.m. – A person reported that several items were taken from her Alumni Hall office. An investigation is pending.
-11:25 a.m. – The Book Center reported a theft of an item. An investigation is pending.
-1:35 p.m. – Officers assisted Veterans Administration police with a search for a missing patient in the Falk Clinic area.
-1:56 p.m. – A person near Posvar Hall sustained an injury while opening a car door. The person declined medical treatment.
-4:25 p.m. – A person in the Petersen Events Center reported the theft of money from his locker. An investigation is pending.
Thursday, Dec. 18
-10:27 a.m. – An officer assisted city police in responding to a reported robbery on Parkman Avenue.
-11:41 a.m. – Property management reported an unauthorized pet and damage to an apartment in Building C of Bouquet Gardens.
-3:08 p.m. – Police received a report of items taken from a locker in the locker room in the Petersen Events Center.

-12:11 p.m. – Police in the PG Lot assisted Harrisburg police in an effort to locate a stolen car in a Pitt parking lot. Officers could not locate the car.
-5:11 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in an attempt to locate a burglary suspect on the 300 block of Semple Street.
Saturday, Dec. 20
-5:19 p.m. – Nonaffiliate Vincent Grandillo, of West Mifflin, Pa., was arrested for driving under the influence.
Sunday, Dec. 21
-12:10 p.m. – An officer picked up packages that were left for the chancellor in the Cathedral of Learning. The packages were taken to the station for later delivery.
Monday, Dec. 22
-6:06 p.m. – A person reported seeing a man walk out of the ground-floor women’s restroom in the Cathedral of Learning. Officers checked and found that the man was a custodian. The incident was cleared.
Wednesday, Dec. 24
-5:24 p.m. – Nonaffiliate Edward Anthony George, of 5333 Rosetta St., activated sensors at the video store in Sennott Square. Officers checked and found an outstanding warrant for him.
-11:02 p.m. – Officers assisted city police responding to a reported burglary on the 100 block of Oakland Avenue.

-9:57 p.m. – Police assisted city police with traffic control at a fire scene at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Devonshire Street.

-7:10 p.m. – Police at the Petersen Events Center performed a warrant arrest of nonaffiliate Leonard Johnson, of 908 Bell Ave.
Thursday, Jan. 1
-12:29 a.m. – Officers on the 200 block of Oakland Avenue cited nonaffiliate Gregory Steven Spirk, of Mars, Pa., for underage drinking.
-8:32 p.m. – Someone reported being assaulted on the hillside stairs behind Eberly Hall. An investigation is pending.
-8:44 p.m. – An officer found a wallet on the hillside behind Eberly Hall. The item was placed in recovered property.

-9:38 a.m. – A person in Craig Hall reported receiving a disturbing voice mail message.
Wednesday, Jan. 7
-9:05 a.m. – A student’s family called, requesting that officers check on a person, as he had not called. The officer located the student, and the student called home. Incident cleared.
