-1:02 p.m. – A person at the Sigma Chi house reported the theft of fraternity property.
-3:10 p.m. – Someone reported a theft from Eddie’s Cafe. An investigation is pending.
-5:53 p.m. – A person reported being harassed by an intoxicated person at the bus stop at Fifth Avenue and Desoto Street.
-6:53 p.m. – Police assisted city police with a report of shots being fired at Semple and Dawson streets.
-9:58 p.m. – Officer reported that a frozen bottle of water was thrown from Sutherland Hall at his vehicle while he was driving into the U Lot. An investigation is pending.
Friday, Jan. 23
-12:36 a.m. – Police cited Jane Booth, of 1001 Brackenridge Hall, for consuming alcohol underage.
-1:39 a.m. – Person reported being assaulted at the bus stop at Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. Police located the person responsible, but the complainant did not wish to press charges.
Tuesday, Jan. 27
-2:19 p.m. – A person reported the theft of money from the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.
-3:01 p.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliate Patrick J. Narey, of East Pittsburgh, for disorderly conduct at Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.
-3:08 p.m. – A man with a gun robbed the Pitt Health Bookstore in Forbes Hall. An investigation is pending.
-4:36 p.m. – Police received a report of a lost envelope from the Petersen Events Center. The incident was cleared.
-10:07 p.m. – Police found people on the Posvar Hall patio with marijuana. An investigation is pending.
-10:11 p.m. – A person in Sutherland Hall reported being harassed by a snack bar staff member.
-11:02 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported shooting at South Bouquet and Dawson streets. The incident was cleared.
Wednesday, Jan. 28
-2:36 a.m. – Custodians stated that there was a chemical spill in Benedum Hall. Officers contacted people responsible for the lab; those people came in and dealt with the problem.
-3:47 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a search for a robbery suspect on the 4600 block of Forbes Avenue.
-6:53 p.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliate David Flores, of 159 N. Bellefield St., for defiant trespass near Scaife Hall.
