-10:21 a.m. – Officers assisted Oakmont police at Presbyterian Hospital by detaining a discharged patient that they had a warrant for.
-4:25 p.m. – A retail theft was reported in the Health Book Store. The person dropped the books and fled. Officers checked the area with negative results.
-5:10 p.m. – A person reported finding damage to his car in the U Lot.
-10:04 p.m. – People stuck in a Litchfield Tower B elevator were released by an elevator repairman.
Saturday, Jan. 17
-12:47 a.m. – A known person damaged a vehicle in the U Lot. An investigation is pending.
-1:13 a.m. – Police cited Daniel Hatting, of Berwyn, Pa., at Pi Kappa Alpha for buying and consuming underage.
-4:58 p.m. – A person at Sigma Chi reported the theft of her wallet at a party. An investigation is pending.
-7:14 p.m. – A student in Hillman Library was referred to the judicial board for smoking marijuana.
-9:26 p.m. – A person in David Lawrence Hall reported that an unknown man was harassing students at a meeting. The man was gone when officers arrived.

-1:30 a.m. – Police cited Seth Wakefield, of Philadelphia, Pa., at Sigma Alpha Epsilon for underage drinking.
-1:53 a.m. – Police cited Joel R. Brink and Michael Derensis, both of Lothrop Hall, for underage drinking.
-2:11 a.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Leland Scales, of Boardman, Ohio, for underage drinking in Bruce Hall.
Monday, Jan. 19
-1:44 a.m. – Police cited Stephanie J. Lauten, of 822 Holland Hall, for underage drinking.
-3:45 a.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate George Edward Mehen, of 853 Mirror Ave., for public intoxication on Forbes Avenue near Bigelow Boulevard.
-11:25 a.m. – Someone in Litchfield Tower B reported the theft of her wallet.
-2:44 p.m. – A person in Litchfield Tower B reported that she was receiving threats from a man on the telephone. An investigation is pending.
-11:19 p.m. – Two unauthorized people were located in Bouquet Gardens building G. They were given trespass warnings and escorted from the property.

-12:05 a.m. – A person in Brackenridge Hall reported possible drug use in the building. An investigation is pending.
-12:06 a.m. – Burnt food activated a fire alarm in the Litchfield Towers.
-9:47 a.m. – An officer took a report involving a non-criminal dispute between former roommates in the Centre Plaza Apartments.
-11:52 a.m. – Police assisted Mt. Lebanon police with a report of a theft of a wallet containing a student ID.
-2:37 p.m. – Someone in Hillman Library reported the theft of her Pitt ID.
-3:06 p.m. – Millvale police recovered a pack with a Pitt ID in it. The notification of the owner is pending.
-4:35 p.m. – A person reported the theft of a student group’s property in the Cathedral of Learning. An investigation is pending.
-5:29 p.m. – Someone in the William Pitt Union reported the theft and resale of property. An investigation is pending.
-9:03 p.m. – An officer received a knife confiscated from a Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic patient for safekeeping.
-9:39 p.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliate Andrew Jackson McCaskill, of 5515 Hays St., in the William Pitt Union for theft.
-9:49 p.m. – A woman in Sutherland Hall reported losing her debit card in November 2003. It has recently been used for cash transactions. An investigation is pending.

-11:09 a.m. – A man reported damage done to his vehicle while it was parked in the U Lot.
-6:26 p.m. – An officer assisted city police with a theft report at Club Laga.

-1:41 a.m. – Police cited Mark J. Brinker, of 688 Gulf Rd., and Steven Brooks, of 515 Tower A, for retail theft at the 7-Eleven.
-1:46 a.m. – Police assisted city police with a reported robbery on the 300 block of Atwood Street.
