Police arrested nonaffiliate Robbie Cohen, of 2142 Elmore Square, at 11:01 a.m. for vehicle theft. The vehicle was stolen from Robinson Street Extension.At 11:59 a.m., police assisted City Police with a person struck by a vehicle at the corner of Fifth and Bellefield avenues.A fire alarm was activated by a broken sprinkler head in Bouquet Gardens Building B at 1:35 p.m. Engineer and Pittsburgh fire units stopped the water flow.Nonaffiliate Charles Sekerski, of 957 Woodlow St., was arrested for defiant trespass at Posvar Hall at 7:04 p.m.Police responded to a report of an irate and uncooperative individual at the Petersen Events Center’s fitness center at 8:31 p.m. A referral to the judicial board will be made.Several people in Litchfield Tower B reported receiving unwanted telephone calls from an unknown caller at 11:04 p.m.

Police found several students in violation of residence hall policy at 3:11 a.m., at McCormick Hall. Judicial board referrals will be made.Someone reported, at 10:00 a.m., that her wallet was stolen from her book bag in Posvar Hall.Officers checked the Towers area for an unlicensed vendor signing people up for credit cards at 4:29 p.m. The person was located and given trespass warnings.At 4:55 p.m., an officer found an area near Chevron Science Center where trees needed to be trimmed for safety reasons. A repair request was filed.Police checked a suspicious person on the 3600 block of Forbes Avenue at 5:24 p.m. The incident was cleared.At 6:31 p.m., an officer reported that someone stole a book from the Book Center and attempted to sell it back to the used book center. An investigation is pending.A complainant, who lives on Ward Street, reported being harassed by an individual on his cell phone and by e-mail at 7:04 p.m. An investigation is pending.Officers assisted Children’s Hospital Police with a car on fire in the driveway at 8:35 p.m.A driver of a University Shuttle damaged another vehicle on the 200 block of Dithridge Street at 9:14 p.m.Police responded to an alcohol violation in Sutherland Hall at 10:40 p.m. A judicial board complaint will be filed.

Someone complained of a marijuana smell at 1:25 a.m. in McCormick hall. Police investigated and the incident was cleared.Nonaffiliate Oscar Ray Mitchell, of 5546 Jackson St., was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Dithridge Street at 1:44 a.m.
