Officers cited nonaffiliate Maya Alisha Wainwright, of Baltimore, for disorderly conduct on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue at 1:12 a.m.At 2:08 a.m., nonaffiliates Matthew Thomas Schmitt, of 37 Sollinger Lane, Timothy I. McMillen Jr., of Springdale, Pa., and Shawn J. Gretz, of Arnold, Pa., were cited for disorderly conduct near the intersection of Bates Street and Meyran Avenue.At 2:36 a.m., police cited Joshua P. Tully, of Lomita, Calif., and nonaffiliate Ryan Patrick Jackson, of 36 Bothwell Ave., for disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Atwood Street.

Officers assisted city police with a retail theft arrest on the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue at 12:09 a.m.At 3:47 a.m., police assisted city police in responding to multiple disturbances in the area of Atwood Street and McKee Place.Nonaffiliates Charles Robert Moio, of Penn Hills, Pa., and Michael Brendan O’Donnell, of Narbet, Pa., were cited for underage drinking on Schenley Drive, near Hillman Library, at 4:01 a.m. No ages were provided.

Officers stopped three people at Bates Street and Zulema Way at 8:15 p.m. Nonaffiliate Roberto Kinderlehrer, of 732 Negley Ave., was arrested for narcotics possession, and nonaffiliates Isaiah Hill, of 1504 N. Murtland St., and Breanna Smith, of 6414 Kemper St., were cited for underage drinking. No ages were provided.

Police assisted city police in responding to an armed robbery reported on the 100 block of Meyran Avenue at 2:25 p.m.At 5:16 p.m., officers assisted city police with a shooting victim who came to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Wednesday, August 13
Nonaffiliate Earl Blanding, of 5424 Fifth Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct at Forbes Avenue and Atwood Street at 4:22 a.m.Officers received a report of the theft of lighting fixtures from a secured area in Thaw Hall at 1:01 p.m.Police mediated a confrontation between two construction workers at the Cathedral of Learning at 1:20 p.m. Officers advised the workers to file charges at the local magistrate’s office.

Officers assisted city police with an indecent exposure call at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street at 5:58 a.m.At 7:01 p.m., an officer reported a broken attic window on the Chancellor’s Residence.Police assisted city police investigating a report of shots fired on the 3200 block of Ward Street at 10:12 p.m.
Monday, August 18
At 3:09 p.m., a juvenile was arrested for thefts from automobiles and criminal mischief on University Drive.
Tuesday, August 19
A mother, while watching a movie in the William Pitt Union, left her 7-year-old daughter unsupervised in the Union atrium. Officers located the mother and, when they discovered she was not affiliated with the University, gave her a trespass warning.
Wednesday, August 20
At 2:28 p.m., officers at the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house cited James Martini, of Harrisburg, Pa., for disorderly conduct.
Thursday, August 21
Carnegie Mellon University police cited four students, and, at 2:54 a.m., brought them to the Pitt police station. Pitt officers transported the students to their residence.Officers cited Ethan R. Block, affiliation not given, of 1011 Devonshire Rd., for failing to obey the direction of a police officer at Darragh Street and Victoria Way at 5:58 p.m.
Friday, August 22
At 12:19 a.m., Abigail Cerino, of North Hampton, Pa., and Claire Heiney, of 149 Chesterfield St., were cited for underage drinking at Joncaire and South Bouquet streets. No ages were given.Police assisted city police with a report of a person with a gunshot wound at 1:22 a.m. in the UPMC Presbyterian emergency room.Officers assisted a CMU officer who cited a Pitt student for underage drinking at 2:09 a.m. Officers dropped the student off at the Pitt police station.At 4:24 a.m., police assisted city police in response to a burglary on the 300 block of Atwood Street.
