Paramedics transported a person who had a convulsion from the Cathedral of Learning to a hospital at 11:34 a.m.

In the Cathedral at 2:12 p.m., someone reported the theft of office door signs and directory letters.

At 4:52 p.m., police received a report that there was the smell of smoke in Crawford Hall. An engineer investigated and found that the fuse had burnt out in an air conditioner. The engineer reset the fuse.

A guard in Hillman Library turned over fliers at 8:49 p.m. that some students found in the library. The students had turned them over to the guard, saying that they were offended by them.

In Litchfield Towers lobby at 12:31 a.m., an officer was given a painting that Panther Central had at their desk for two days.

Monday, April 7

A fire alarm in Forbes Craig Apartments was activated by burning bacon at 4:43 p.m.

There was a water leak in the fitness center of the Petersen Events Center at 4:52 p.m. SMG and an engineer responded.

At 5:27 p.m., police received a report that someone was receiving disturbing e-mails from someone in Oakland that the person knew.

Someone reported finding graffiti in the men’s rooms on the fifth and sixth floor of Sennott Square at 11:44 p.m.

Tuesday, April 8 Edward Schneider Jr., of 1508 Tower C, was arrested for marijuana and disorderly conduct in Tower C at 3:17 a.m.

In Tower A at 10:09 p.m., a resident director received a complaint of the smell of marijuana and called the police. An officer found drug paraphernalia. A judicial board referral will be made.

A custodian reported at 11:54 p.m. that a vending machine on the second floor of Salk Hall was broken into.

Wednesday, April 9

A custodian in Posvar Hall turned in computer equipment that he discovered in Room 5-T at 4:56 a.m.

At 4:11 a.m., Pitt police assisted the city police with an incident at Centre and Morgan. The suspect fled with a gun from city officers, but was gone once the police arrived.

A woman in the William Pitt Union reported at 11:03 a.m. that she received harassing phone calls from someone she knows.

A Springfest banner was stolen from in front of Sutherland Hall at 3:48 p.m.

Antonio D. Gomez, of 373 S. Pacific Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct at the Cathedral at 5:16 p.m.

Thursday, April 10

Someone stole a desk drawer from the Chevron Science Center at 2:55 p.m.

At 6:56 p.m., a woman reported losing her engagement ring somewhere on campus.

A woman reported at 7:30 p.m. that her license plate was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the Old Cemetery Lot.

A window was broken at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house at 12:04 a.m.

Police received a report of a bulletin board being on fire outside of Bouquet Gardens at 2:34 a.m. An officer arrived at the scene and said the fire had burned itself out once he had arrived.
