– At 12:46 a.m., it was reported that there was spray paint on the Gold Building.

– Nonstudent Harold Meltzer, of unknown location, was cited for defiant trespass in David Lawrence Hall at 8:11 a.m.

– A guard reported at 8:37 a.m. that someone broke the glass case containing the elevator key in the Petersen Events Center. The key was taken.

– There was a suspicious man in one of the offices in Salk Hall at 9:45 a.m. He fled the scene when the police arrived.

– In Posvar Hall at 11:42 a.m., a man slipped and fell on the loading dock stairs. He was transported to UPMC Presbyterian by a patrol car.

– Nameplates were taken from office doors in the Cathedral of Learning at 11:55 a.m.

– A woman reported receiving several prank phone calls within 15 minutes in Forbes Tower at 2:53 p.m.

– In the Biomedical Science Tower at 3:12 p.m., a man reported that his book bag was taken that morning.

– A woman in the Biomedical Science Tower called at 3:13 p.m. to report that her book bag was taken that morning.

– A man was injured while playing racquetball in Trees Hall at 8:21 p.m. The paramedics responded and checked the man, who refused treatment.

– A child set off a fire alarm on the third floor of Mervis Hall at 8:37 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 8

– Police arrested a juvenile for drinking underage in Zeta Beta Tau at 2:29 a.m.

– In Litchfield Tower B at 2:29 a.m., a juvenile was arrested for underage drinking.

– Police received a report of several women harassing each other in Tower B at 2:46 a.m.

– Brett Huggard, 19, of Mechanicsville, Pa., was cited for underage drinking in Tower A at 3:40 a.m.

– The Carnegie Mellon University Police Department transported a Pitt student from Morewood Gardens to Presbyterian at 3:55 a.m. because of a possible suicide attempt.

– A residence assistant reported to the police at 4:54 p.m. that a sign was posted on her Tower B floor.

– Jacob M. Smith, 18, of 713 Tower C, was cited for underage drinking at the Pete at 4:58 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 9

– In Bruce Hall, at 2:23 p.m., a woman reported that she was harassed by her roommate.

Monday, Feb. 10

– Pitt police received a report from Victoria Hall at 10:19 a.m. that someone had called from Wilkinsburg seeking assistance. Referrals were made to the social service agencies.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

– At 2 a.m., during a traffic stop at Oakland Avenue and Sennott Street, nonstudent Alphonso Evans, of 8128 Cordell Place, was arrested on a city of Pittsburgh warrant for aggravated assault. He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
