In Lothrop Hall at 1:11 p.m., Pitt police received a report that there was criminal mischief taking place inside the dorm.
Police received a report that someone was being harassed via telephone calls in Tower C at 3:50 p.m.
A guard reported at 8:26 p.m. that a child shattered the sliding glass doors in the Petersen Events Center. SMG, the company that manages the Pete, was notified and a cleanup crew was on the scene.
In Amos Hall at 8:54 p.m., someone reported receiving several anonymous phone messages and a foul message.
Wednesday, Feb. 12
An unknown male was reported to be in the shower room of Tower B at 3:27 p.m.
At 8:27 p.m. Police confiscated contraband that hospital security took from a nonstudent who was being treated in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Thursday, Feb. 13
Courtney Jumper, 20, of 705 McCormick Hall, was cited for underage drinking in McCormick Hall at 1:14 a.m.
During a building check of the Life Science Building, an officer noticed a natural gas smell on the second floor as well as an overheated coffee pot at 2:02 a.m. The officer shut off the coffee pot and notified an engineer who responded and corrected the problem.
A male worker was observed in one of the Towers’ women’s shower rooms at 3:11 p.m. He was identified.
Friday, Feb. 14
On Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard at 1:20 a.m., the following students were cited for underage drinking: Alison Eissler, 18, of Drexel Hill, Pa., Erica Rieger, 19, of Altoona, Pa., Kimlieu Pham, 18, of Upper Darby, Pa., Ryan Opsahl, 19, of New Britain, Pa., and Thomas Craig, 18, of Woodbury, N.J.
