• A computer part was stolen from a locked office in Thaw Hall… Tuesday, Jan. 21
• A computer part was stolen from a locked office in Thaw Hall at 11:02 a.m.
• In Old Engineering Hall at 11:21 a.m., a computer drive was taken from a secured area.
• Police received a report at 11:45 a.m. that someone in Posvar Hall possessed child pornography.
• At 3:39 p.m. at the Sigma Chi house, police received 16 cases of beer from a housing official. The beer was placed in a property room for safekeeping.
Wednesday, Jan. 22
• Nonstudent Marius Burgess, of 7812 Formosa Way, was arrested for parole violation at 8:27 a.m. in the Cathedral of Learning.
• At 10:08 a.m. in Posvar Hall, a water main break occurred on the G2 level. An engineer shut off the water and custodians were notified.
• An unknown person tried to remove a projector from a cabinet in the Cathedral of Learning at 12:47 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 23
• At 9:23 a.m., police received a report that someone was checking open offices in Langley Hall. Police checked the area, but the person was gone.
• Nonstudent Harold Meltzer, of no known address, was arrested for defiant trespass in David Lawrence Hall at 5:32 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 24
• At 12:56 a.m., an assault and robbery occurred at Terrace and Darragh streets.
• Police assisted city police on an armed robbery at the Pizza Outlet on Fifth Avenue at 3:20 a.m.
