• Officers responded to a report at 9:41 a.m. that someone in Posvar Hall removed batteries from the clocks and a set of headphones.

• At 11:17 a.m., someone in Posvar Hall reported some difficulties he was having with a student.

• Someone reported at 9:53 p.m. that smoke was coming from the Bouquet Gardens building H third floor laundry room. Officers investigated and found that a washing machine had overheated.

Friday, Oct. 25

• Officers confiscated a parking sign from a student at 12:32 a.m. No location was given.

• At Litchfield Towers, at 2:51 a.m., Carrie Ruzicka, 18, of Bethel Park, Pa., was cited for underage drinking.

• Police reported a missing crosswalk sign near Posvar Hall at 7:44 a.m.

• A woman in Tower A reported at 12:04 p.m. that she received several calls from a male caller she did not know.

• Someone in Thackeray Hall reported several prank calls at 12:27 p.m.

• At 3:43 p.m., a man in Sutherland Hall reported that some of his items were missing following a physical altercation with his roommate on Wednesday.

• Someone hung unauthorized banner signs on the 16th story roof of the Cathedral of Learning. Police removed the signs at 3:46 p.m.

• A man inappropriately touched a woman at 5:47 p.m.

• In Trees Hall at 6:56 p.m., a man reported getting into an altercation with another man. One of the men was transported to UPMC Presbyterian.

Saturday, Oct. 26

• Christopher Burnett, of 3333 Ward St., was cited for disorderly conduct at 2:20 a.m.

• Police cited David Anthony Knotts, of 3826 Pier St., for public drunkenness at 2:40 a.m.

• Police received a call at 11:40 a.m. that a woman had fallen on the steps of the Cathedral. She refused medical treatment.

• A woman fell on the steps of David Lawrence Hall at 12:13 p.m. She refused medical treatment.

• At 3:45 p.m., police reported the theft of a University Gator vehicle that was recovered from the Zone 2 Police station.

• A woman in Lothrop Hall reported at 7:15 p.m that her television had been taken from her unlocked room.

Sunday, Oct. 27

• Police responded to a report at 12:34 a.m that skateboarders in the area of the Petersen Events Center had damaged concrete railings and flower beds.

• An officer reported at 12:45 a.m. that he was out with a man who may be trying to steal a bike.

• Nonaffiliate Kevin Walters, 19, of Allentown, Pa., was cited for underage drinking at the Towers at 2:30 a.m.

• Police cited Sean Chancle, 18, of 605 Tower B, for underage drinking at 3:05 a.m..

• At 3:31 a.m., Michael Zucatti, 19, of Carlisle, Pa., was cited for underage drinking.

• Pitt police assisted city police with a naked man running down Forbes Avenue at 4:10 a.m. The man was transported to Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.

• A person in the William Pitt Union reported at 5:54 p.m. that a man still on the scene stole a bag of potato chips.
