About 100 students gathered in the auditorium of Alumni Hall on Tuesday night as Pitt Panhellenic hosted Stephanie Foster, a stand-up comedian, for her self-produced comedy tour “Without Rhyme Nor Reason.”

K-Town Snack Bar is the first restaurant in the United States to serve instant ramyun made in EZ COOK IH5600 machines. The owner, Jae Park, opened the snack bar because he saw a lack of Korean restaurants in the Oakland area.

Pitt joined Yung Gravy’s “gravy train” as hundreds of students watched him kiss the Cathedral of Learning on an onstage screen during Fall Fest on Sunday, calling it a “MILF.”
Pitt’s Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies held a festival Sunday in the Cathedral of Learning, which featured vendors, educators and advocates with roots from nearly every country in eastern Europe.

Spooky season is officially upon us and for many of us that means pumpkin and apple picking. There are many options near campus that offer a fun way to destress from midterms — providing everything from food trucks to giant pumpkins and games.
Pitt’s Symphony Orchestra held its first concert of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The free show filled plenty of seats in Bellefield Hall. The program underscored the orchestra’s multifaceted talent.
Zakiya Young, a 2001 Pitt alum, landed her first Hollywood gig on teen thriller series “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.” She spoke with The Pitt News about how she uses her Western Pennsylvania roots to identify with her character Corey on the show.
