Pitt Athletic Director Heather Lyke announced the addition of the women’s lacrosse team on Thursday, its first season will be in spring 2022. Pitt’s last varsity sports addition was over 20 years ago when women’s softball was added in 1998.
Pitt Volleyball lost its first match of the season, 3-1, this weekend to Duke.
