Pitt baseball continued its red-hot start to the season over the weekend, sweeping its quartet of matchups against Lehigh and Central Connecticut State in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in Sanford, Florida. With the wins, Pitt improved its record to 10-1, good for its best start since 2002 and first-place in the ACC Coastal division.
Pitt baseball played its first three-game series of 2020 over the weekend, sweeping Eastern Michigan in Sanford, Florida, and improving to 6-1 on the season.

Pitt baseball kicked off its 2020 season in Port Charlotte, Florida, over the weekend, posting a 3-1 record over the course of three days. The Panthers started off hot, beating both Indiana State and St. Joseph’s on Friday, before going 1-1 against Ohio State and Iowa to close out the weekend. 
Nico Popa suffered a season-ending injury as a sophomore but fought back to earn second-team All-ACC honors in 2019.

Blue Jays fans had already witnessed the debuts of future stars like Vladamir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette, but Tuesday night featured the latest addition to Toronto’s youth movement — former Pitt Panther TJ Zeuch.
