Pitt’s class of 2025 is its largest yet, with 4,927 first-year students enrolled for the fall semester.

Pitt works to make room for largest ever first-year class

With a first-year class of 5,195 students, Pitt struggled to accommodate the large number of students. Departments hired new staff and added new class sections, and the University leased a hotel for housing.
