Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Pitt News has reduced print editions this academic year from four days a week to only Wednesdays.
The construction project on Bigelow Boulevard, originally scheduled to finish in August, is now scheduled to be completed in October.

Five Greek life chapters were placed on “Interim Suspension of Registration” on Wednesday after allegedly violating the University’s Health and Safety Guidelines, the Student Code of Conduct and the Fraternity and Sorority Guidelines.

Pitt announces no in-person classes until at least Sept. 14

Provost Ann Cudd said in a Wednesday afternoon email that there will be no in-person classes on Monday, extending online learning until at least Sept. 14 to allow for all students to start in-person classes at the same time.
