From classics to new releases, from poetry to fiction to essay and memoir, these are a few reads that have been keeping me sane in the time of COVID-19.

Garbage collection in Pittsburgh came to a standstill Wednesday morning after sanitation workers from the City held a demonstration insisting they were not receiving proper protective gear to continue working during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sanitation workers are providing essential, life sustaining services for the Pittsburgh community during this time. They deserve to be protected — with both gear and hazard pay — while working under such conditions.
Even though in-person programs such as drop-in hours and Let’s Talk have been suspended, Pitt’s Counseling Center provides students with access to Therapy Assistance Online, a resource with interactive therapy programs.

According to Darr, the Counseling Center has modified its arrangement of services to assist students virtually, in lieu of in-person appointments.
