Pitt bounces back in dominating fashion on Homecoming, defeating UNH 77-7

The Panthers (2-1, 0-0 ACC) welcomed the New Hampshire Wildcats to Heinz Field (3-0, 2-0 CAA) for the teams’ second ever meeting — in the first meeting in 2010 the Panthers won 38-16. The Panthers extended their win streak against the Wildcats on Saturday, winning 77-7 and enjoyed a couple of record breaking performances on offense.
Redshirt senior quarterback Kenny Pickett has posted 939 yards and 10 touchdowns with one interception in his first three games.

Homecoming came a week early for Pittsburgh natives and former Panthers Bricen Garner and Therran Coleman, who both started for Western Michigan in a 44-41 upset win over their former school at Heinz Field last weekend.

Pitt football was outcoached and outgunned by Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos capitalized on every key moment and took home an 44-41 upset win in the first game ever played between the two schools.
