Evelyn Bigini’s Fulbright scholarship has allowed her to meet wonderful people from all over the world and expand her knowledge of Global Health. Bigini is one of a record 15 Pitt graduates who won this prestigious scholarship for 2020-21.

Two additional Pitt students were awarded Fulbright scholarships in late May, bringing this year’s total of students who received the prestigious award to 13.
Abby Neer will be working in either a primary or secondary school in South Korea as an English teaching assistant.

Pitt announces annual Fulbright winners

Eleven students won Fulbright Scholarships for the 2019-20 session. The Fulbright annually awards 1,900 scholarships to recent college graduates from the United States to spend time in a foreign country where they can teach English, conduct research or earn a master’s degree.
