The first weekend of the tournament is always a spectacle, filled with upsets and exciting games — and it’s the best weekend to gamble, with games on all day Thursday through Sunday. Let the Madness begin.

Best first-round NCAA Tournament matchups

With the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket officially released, it’s time to start parsing through the opening matchups to look for the best entertainment value.
Women’s basketball head coach Lance White’s team currently sits near the bottom of the ACC in the No. 14 seed. The Panthers have won two of their 16 conference games.
