As the transition from high school to college can be challenging for many, the University offers a range of programs to students. From the University Counseling Center to Therapy Dog Tuesdays, there are a variety of resources available for students dealing with issues such as stress, grief, academic pressure or mental health concerns.

Resident assistants give advice for first-year students

Pitt has more than 170 resident assistants, who typically live on and oversee one floor in a residence hall. Between their experience living in on-campus dorms, training and proximity, RAs and RDs are one of the best resources for first-year students seeking advice.
