The new year tends to bring a sense of hope and renewal. It’s a time to make resolutions — a time for personal improvement and change. But no matter how much change the year brings, Americans can take solace in the three eternal constants — death, taxes and an overinflated defense budget.

Senate Council talks sexual assault cases, increased security presence on campus

Chief of Police James Loftus said Pitt police have yet to identify the perpetrator of the recent sexual assault in the Cathedral of Learning.
The Walking Escort Pilot Program will walk students back to their dorms from Hillman Library during the hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
