Paula Sims, 59, is at her fourth inauguration today — her first being Reagan in 1980. A Newark, Delaware resident, she’s here with her daughter, Catie Campbell, 18, and her friend Shirl Schanzenbach, 56. All three supported Trump.
Sims, who is self employed, said she’s in Washington D.C. because she hopes Trump will make the economy go “up, up, up.” However, she also deeply respects the transfer of power and U.S. history, and says that protesters should “give [Trump] a chance. Their protesting what he hasn’t done.”
