A generator backfired Tuesday morning at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Biotechnology… A generator backfired Tuesday morning at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Biotechnology and Bioengineering.
The center, located on a bank of the Monongahela River, sponsors about 80 undergraduate interns who work with faculty in the fields of bioengineering, musculoskeletal research, chemical engineering and tissue engineering.
Pitt spokesman John Fedele said no one was injured in the event.
