Pitt spokesman John Fedele said police arrested and charged a Pitt junior from Elkins Park with two counts of causing or risking a catastrophe and one count of carrying a false ID.
Police were responding to two reports of a laser originating from the Cathedral of Learning, Fedele The laser was flashing at helicopters as they flew to UPMC Presbyterian.
Fedele said that as a group of students left the Cathedral, police confronted them, and shortly afterward Parisi confessed.
