Pitt will administer 100 more H1N1 vaccines through the University’s Student Health… Pitt will administer 100 more H1N1 vaccines through the University’s Student Health Service.
Students will be able to receive the nasal spray form of the H1N1 vaccine from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the Medical Arts Building, Suite 500, 3708 Fifth Ave.
Previously registered students with registration numbers one to 2,800 are eligible to receive the vaccine on Wednesday.
Pitt spokesman John Fedele said in an e-mail that Pitt will receive more vaccines from the commonwealth “as it becomes available,” though he did not know when that would be.
As of now, only the nasal spray form of the flu vaccine is available.
However, students who want the injectable vaccine should register online so the University can inform them when it becomes available, Fedele said.
To register to receive the H1N1 vaccine, students should visit my.pitt.edu or www.pc.pitt.edu/flu.
Students can direct further questions or concerns to Pitt’s Flu Hotline at 412-624-2222.
